1. What are the benefits of organic cotton?

Organic cotton refers to naturally cultivated cotton without the use of any synthetic agricultural chemicals such as fertilisers or pesticides, preventing seepage and contamination into the groundwater that is essential for the health and safety of local communities.

2. Is your packaging eco – friendly?

When you invest in our sustainably-made products, you receive the whole package! Our products are packed in corn starch bags that are light and bio-degradable leaving a lighter footprint on the planet.

3. What does GOTS certification mean?

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres and ensures a product is made the ethical way each step of the process. For us, it means that our products are made from certified organic textiles through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labelling to provide credible assurance to our customers

4. What is the thread count for Whites of London Sheets?

Our sheets are produced from luxurious soft fabrics like 200TC cotton percale, 600TC organic cotton and soft blend of 300TC bamboo cotton.

5. What is cotton percale?

Percale is a high quality bedding fabric. It boasts of a distinctive, smooth, cool and crisp feel. We often compare it to a white button down shirt!

Cotton percale sheets actually get softer with each wash, as we use the best quality long staple yarns to weave our sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and rest of the percale bedding.

6. What are the differences between your fabrics?

All of our fabrics are sourced for a unique sleep experience.

Organic Cotton

Our high quality, long staple, 100% organic cotton is woven for a soft, silky, luxurious finish. The 200TC percale allows air to circulate keeping you cool in the summer and cosy in the winters.

100% Linen

Our linen is woven from the finest European Flax. The fabric is processed and washed to make it light and airy, resulting in a soft fabric that becomes more supple with each wash.

Bamboo Cotton

Combining the natural softness of bamboo fibres with the durability of cotton, our bamboo cotton fabric offers a silky, luxurious feel that’s breathable, light weight and gentle to the skin.

The fabric is naturally hypoallergenic, moisture wicking and environment friendly.
