ORGANIC COTTON 200TC PERCALE PRINTED SHEET SET - PRAIRIE

Prairie is a print built on a single clever conceit: some blooms are fully rendered in vivid colour, others left as pencil sketches and the interplay between the two is what makes the design work.

The ground is a warm off-white, scattered with an eclectic botanical mix: large peony and chrysanthemum-like blooms, small wildflowers, and sweeping tropical palm fronds. The sketched elements — rendered in fine graphite linework — give the composition lightness and graphic precision, while the coloured blooms burst through in hot pink, sunshine yellow, orange, and coral red, demanding attention without overwhelming. The palm fronds carry the only solid greens, anchoring the composition and introducing a quietly tropical note into what is otherwise a meadow-garden vocabulary.
